Follicle Puncture
- Egg cells are removed under a regional anaesthetic.
- You will need to spend 1.5-3 hours at the practice.
- Important: After the egg cells have been collected you will not be fit to drive.
After Puncture:
- Rest (lie down)
- Plenty to drink: at least 1-2 litres of water/tea
- No heavy lifting
Pain Relief:
- max. 4 Buscopan suppositories/tablets
- or max. 2 Mexalen 500 suppositories
- Apply warmth to the abdomen
