Key questions
The following analyses and results are fundamental in ensuring that your first appointment is informative for you.
- Man’s semen results (not older than 3 months)
- All information about surgeries for the woman and, if applicable, for the man (surgeries on the testicles, etc.)
- Woman's hormone analyses: FSH, E2, LH, testosterone, DHEA-S, androstendione, TSH, fT3, fT4, thyroglobin Ab, TPO Ab, thyroid microsomal Ab (all taken between the 2nd and 5th day of the menstrual cycle)

In most cases, treatment starts on the first day of your period.
There are no general rules. If a pregnancy occurs, this happens in most cases during the first four treatment cycles.
4 weeks, depending on the woman’s cycle.
A break of between 1 and 3 months is recommended between cycles.
The IVF Fund pays for 4 treatment cycles. The IVF Fund does not pay for women over 40 with healthy fallopian tubes and men over 50 with good quality semen. These patients must pay for the treatment themselves.
